For this assignment you will submit Part One of your proposal, detailing a health problem that isprevalent within your selected group ( BREAST CANCER IN DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE ) and demonstrating your research of health promotion strategies for addressing this specific health problem.

 Directions

1. Introduction. Describe the health problem. Don’t type “Introduction”.  (1 paragraph).Using data and statistics, support your claim that the issue you selected is a problem.What specifically will you address in your proposed health promotion program?Be sure your proposed outcome is realistic and measurable.

2. Describe the vulnerable population.  (1-2 paragraph).What are the risk factors that make this a vulnerable population?Use evidence to support the risk factors you have identified.

3. Provide a review of literature from scholarly journals (at least 2) of evidence-based interventions that address the problem. (2 paragraph, one for each article).After completing a literature search related to effective interventions for your chosen health promotion activity, write a review that evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of all the sources you have found. (1-2 paragraph).

4. Select and present an appropriate health promotion/disease prevention theoretical or conceptual model that best serves as the guiding framework for the proposal.  (1-2 paragraph).

Choose a case from the AMA Journal of Ethics Case Index and take a position. For this assignment you will evaluate the ethical arguments for or against the issue. Identify the potential legal arguments (consider current federal guidelines), indicate any potential professional code conflicts you foresee, and support your position with an explanation of your own ethical/moral foundation.In your 2 pages paper:

• Identify the issue and state your ethical position.
• How might this scenario play out or impact you in your role as a nurse practitioner? 
• Defend your position with legal, ethical, and professional evidence.
• As part of your position, propose strategies and solutions for addressing the issues.

– Community Strategic Plan: Part AFor this assignment, identify an area of focus in community health within your own community.  ( PLEASE USE YOUR SELECTION AS A TOPIC)  Using Gordon’s Functional Health Patterns framework (p. 130 , assess the health risks in your community.  In your community assessment paper, include the following:

• Identify resources in your community that would enable you to complete a community assessment and submit a summary of your findings (1 paragraph).
• Refer to Examples of Community Strengths and Concerns, and assess the strengths and concerns of your community (2 paragraphs).
• Identify potential barriers to implementing community health plans in your community and brainstorm  ways of addressing these barriers (2paragraphs).

Your paper should be 2 pages in length, not including the cover and reference pages. Use APA throughout.  You must include 2–3 sources that are APA cited and referenced in your paper. (Sources may include community resources such as flyers, brochures, interviews, news stories, and local research data from credible sources.)
