 GREEN CONTRACT
1. In your group, you will brainstorm and collectively agree on a minimum of (3) green living
actions for the following categories:
a. At Home, Ex. Turn off water while brushing teeth
b. At Work or School, Ex. Start a recycling Program at work
c. Socially, Ex. Carpool to meet for coffee, instead of everyone taking their own car
You will have a total of at least (9) ways in which you and your team will actively “go green.”  
2. Nominate one person in the group to type/create your team’s “Green Contract.”  This will be a
document that all team members will sign, it will include your action items and a place for
signatures.  The contract will run for the length of the semester and have the end date of the
last day of class.  This typed agreement presented on a power point slide and should be
brought to the next class meeting.  Each member in the group will have an agreed or “signed”
copy of the agreement.
3. Each individual team member will be responsible for keeping a weekly journal, recording what
actions were and were not taken or implemented.  Please use a word document for your
weekly entries.  Please create and appropriate title as your heading.  This assignment must be
done weekly and in a neat and organized fashion.
 This is an individual assignment, after the contract is written and agreed/signed upon
by each member.
 This is an on-going assignment that lasts throughout the semester.
THIS JOURNAL WILL BE TURNED IN, ON THE FINAL DAY OF CLASS AND WILL BE GRADED AS A
REGULAR ASSIGNMENT.
