APA Reference and In-Text Citation Assignment on Depression

The purpose of this assignment is to help you practice using APA in-text citations and references.
1. Please write a full paragraph on your topic making sure to use APA in-text citations. You may re-use a paragraph that you have already written if it includes appropriate citations.
Remember that anytime a claim is made or a fact is given, or you are summarizing, paraphrasing, or quoting – a citation is needed! So much of the research is reviewing the existing literature and saying what “they say” (with in-text citations). Also, remember that scholarly writing should be in the third person rather than the first person. Please do not use “I think”, “I feel”, “I believe”, or any “I statements” when writing about your topic. The reason for this is that the “I statement” easily falls into “opinion territory” which is fine in a personal reflection paper, just not for research writing. You may use the paragraph that you write for this assignment in your final paper. 
2. Create a Reference Page with at least 3 scholarly references relating to your topic.
You may already have this from previous assignments – if this is the case, feel free to re-use what you have, as long as it is in APA format and your references are scholarly. If you have not already, please try using the online library database to find your references. I know that many of you have already done this, so this assignment should be easy!
