The first step is to summarize McKinsey paper before you apply their valuation tool to your company selected.  The purpose of summarizing McKinsey paper is to understand & apply their valuation methodology to your company that youre going to pick.  In your summary, you also need to summarize all the Exhibits in the paper because you need to conduct the similar data analysis later (for your final paper) using your company financial data (from Bloomberg Terminal, Yahoo Finance, Company website, and so forth).  Remember that your summary will be the base/underpinning of the METHODOLOGY/DATA ANALYSIS section of your final paper.  Both will be almost identical in terms of the format.  The more elaborated your summary paper is, the better your final paper will be, the easier your work will be until you finish it, etc.
Each McKinsey paper explains valuation methodology for a specific type of business (high-growth companies, cyclical companies, and emerging market companies – you need to pick one).  Each (paper) methodology consists of multiple steps and their sub-titles are those steps you need to follow when you summarize their paper and analyze your company data.
       You need to summarize your McKinseypaper section-by-section because each section is a step of theirvaluation process.
      The goal of thisterm paper is to REPLICATE the McKinseys methodology for the valuation of yourcompany chosen!
