•           Decide how you want to share information to families. You will need to create three “educational materials” to add to your digital info kit but you can decide how you want to develop them. These three educational materials could be a mix of any of the following:
•           A blog post of 250+words and at least one image (images help make blog posts engaging).
•           A video of 2 minutes or less (could either be you talking or screen capture of resources being highlighted, or a PowerPoint presentation turned into video)
•           A one-page information sheet (use Microsoft Word flyer templates to make it visually pleasing for families)
•           A 2 minute or less podcast.
•           A five slide PowerPoint.
•           Note: You don’t have to use all of the options above. It’s up to you how you want to create the educational materials for your info kit. If you’d prefer to use the same option for all three, that is also acceptable. 
•           Choose one age group of focus:
•           Infant/toddler
•           Early Childhood
•           Middle Childhood
•           Choose three factors influencing development and their implications for the age group you are focusing on. These factors should be those we covered in the “Influencer Highlight” portions of the course.
•           Select three examples of books for children that can help families with the areas you chose in bullets above.
Directions
•           Develop your three elements for your Digital Info Kit that address important concepts in child development. You should develop one element for each key area below (see above for ideas of how to address each): 
•           Educational Material 1: Describe three developmental milestones for your chosen age group (one for physical domain, one for cognitive domain, and one for social and emotional domain), including how parents can help support children in developing that milestone and what to look for to know the child has reached the milestone. Include a scholarly source as a reference to support your ideas.
•           Educational Material 2: Summarize three factors influencing development and their implications for the age group you are focusing on. These factors should be those we covered in the “Influencer Highlight” portions of the course. Include a scholarly source as a reference to support your ideas. 
•           Educational Material 3: Share three examples of children’s literature that can help families with factors influencing child development. Include a scholarly source as a reference to support your ideas. 
•           Compile your three elements for the info kit on your website or Box folder.
•           Create a Word document titled “Digital Info Kit Author and References
•           Last name” that includes:
•           Your name
•           Chosen age group
•           List of three educational materials, their related concept, and the APA citation for your reference for each.
•           Be sure to include at least three unique scholarly references (don’t reuse the same reference for each).
