Hello 
I need a research proposal done on the question Does isolation during a pandemic creates an increase in depression?  Attached are the formal requirements and below are more concise directions to what is expected.

Title page:  You should be using the professional style for this paper.  The title page should contain the title of the paper, the author’s name, and the institutional affiliation (GSC). Author’s notes are not necessary to include on the title page.  For the header, you should include the title of the paper flush left in all capitals and the page number flush right.  The phrase “running head:” is no longer required as per the 7th edition updates.   for professional title page APA guidelines.
Abstract:   You are not required to include an abstract section for this paper.
Main Body:  To organize the body of the paper, you should include headings for the required sections outlined in the Final Research Proposal Guidelines file (Introduction, research question, hypothesis, variables, etc.).  The heading for the introduction section should be the title of your paper (not the word “introduction”) and should use level 1 formatting.  The additional sections should use level 2 formatting.  If you use any subthemes within these sections, these should be formatted using level 3 formatting.   for APA formatting of headings. 
Reference Section:  This section should appear on a separate page with the title “References” centered and in bold.  An APA formatted reference should be provided for every source cited in the body of your paper.  References should all use the “hanging indent”.   for APA formatting of references. Only peer-reviewed sources should be cited in your paper.  Sources from websites such as Wikipedia, Verywellmind, and Psychology today would not be considered peer-reviewed sources.  If you have any questions about whether a source would be considered peer-reviewed, you should contact me or the librarian to confirm it is appropriate.
Appendix Section:  This section should appear on a separate page with the title “Appendix” centered and in bold.  If there are multiple appendices, each should be labeled with a capital letter and referenced in-text by its specific title (for example, see Appendix B).  If your proposed study uses surveys to measure variables, include at least one example question (including response items) from each survey in the appendix.  If you are using a preexisting survey developed by other researchers, it would also be acceptable to cite the source of the survey or provide a link to the survey instead of providing an example.   for APA formatting of the Appendix. 
In-text citation:  An in-text citation should be provided for every factual statement that wouldn’t be considered “common knowledge”.  If you have a question about whether a statement in your paper requires citation, contact either me or the librarian for advice.  You should cite a source upon the first mention in your paper.  Then, as long as it is clear you are discussing information from this same source, there is no need to cite again until you start a new paragraph or cite a new source.  For APA formatting of in-text citation, 
Direct quotes: APA recommends avoiding the use of direct quotes unless the exact wording of the author is absolutely necessary to make a point.   Instead of using direct quotes, you should paraphrase the author using your own words.  If you do use direct quotes, you must include the page number in the citation.  
Empirical Studies:  You do not necessarily need to provide details about the research methods used for every empirical study your cite, but you should provide a detailed discussion of a few empirical studies related to each of your variables that represent interesting studies that show the importance of the variable you are discussing.  For these studies, include details such as research methods (experiment, correlational study, cross-sectional study, qualitative study, etc.)  participants (numbers and demographics), measures used (self-report, physiological measures, etc.), major findings (no need to include numbers, just mention any statistically significant findings), and conclusions made by the researchers.  These details will allow your readers to judge the strength of the evidence provided.
