Are clients adjusting or changing their estate planning in anticipation of gift/estate taxation changes by Congress? 
Should the gift/estate tax system be changed? Abolished? What would possible ramifications then be?
At the end of the day, is the current gift and estate tax structure beneficial to society? 
Are there still many ways that individuals can pass substantial wealth on to future generations?  How are these structured? 
Is the current system beneficial or detrimental for the middle class?
Is there too much focus on estate taxes and not enough on the other aspects of estate planning that affect everybody, not just the wealthy? 
Is the current structure “fair?” Is the public perception of gift and estate taxes accurate? Are basic concepts, such as getting a step-up in basis widely understood?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of changing our current gift and estate tax structure? How much interest is there in changing the current structure?
How might changing the current gift and estate tax structure impact such things such as gifting while alive or charitable bequests while living or from an estate?
