Matthew chapters 5 – 7 are Jesus’s “Sermon on theMount,” the longest and most specific account of his ethics in the NewTestament. A parallel version, known as the “Sermon on the Plain,” isfound in Luke chapter 6. The SOM worksheet is worth a look.
Jesus’s “Parable of the Good Samaritan” is found inLuke chapter 10. This is one of the most influential of Jesus’s texts and it isthe subject of much reflection.
