This is first half of your exam-1. This half of the exam is based on free response questions. There are two questions with two sub-parts each. In the first question, you will take a survey which might take 15-20 minutes, get the survey results which will be based on your answers unique to your case.  Then proceed to answer questions 1.1 and 1.2.   In the second question, you will listen to a podcast which might take 30 minutes. Then proceed to answer questions 2.1 and 2.2. 
Provide support for your answers. Base your answer off the  journal articles with proper APA citation. Do NOT copy-paste from the internet sources to avoid plagiarism. High similarity ratio will result in penalty determined by your professor alongwith Dean of Students. Write in your own words. You will be submitting your answers in Turnitin.   Proper writing and citation counts for five points.  Let us start.

Question 2.2 Alternative (If you have ethical and/or moral reservations about answering Question 2.2 as written above, please answer this alternative question 2.2 here but do NOT respond to both): Assume you are a behavioral economist. Your state governor is seeking your advice on how to best offer a public policy to mitigate difficult times during the Covid pandemic taking into account various beliefs of the population. The state governor would like to offer a policy that encourages mask use for those who would like to wear masks while at the same time encourage those who would not like to wear masks to be self-responsible in alternative ways. The state governor does not want to implement mandates but would like for the population to have the freedom to decide how to exercise self-responsibility in their own lives based on what may work best for them given their personal circumstances.  Provide support to your case.
