executive summary report based on case study

This is based on the D.O.T. case study and relevant statutes and policies. You will use the attachments titled “3. DOT CASE STUDY” and “4. RELEVANT ADMINISTRATIVE D.O.T. POLICIES AND STATUTES” to get started. 
Instructions:
An individually created one page executive summary report based upon the single character you have chosen and that person’s culpability.

Even a cursory review of the case study reveals that each character plays a different role within the case study. For example, Jerry Johnson is the main target of the investigation while Mary Marshall is the informant. Yet, no individual is completely without culpability and each person presents several issues for discussion.
There are four main criteria in these reports…ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, ASSESSMENT AND CLARITY.  Accuracy in the reporting of what the case study has specifically stated, taking care not to “overstate” the evidence.  Completeness is expected in the reporting of both the positive and negative aspects of the case. Listing the good and the bad to permit the responsible party (your reader) to make an accurate determination as to what action should be taken in regard to the original allegations. Assessment of culpability is the Marshalling of the facts to determine whether the actions of any individual constitute a violation of either agency policy of criminal law (or both). Even if such violation has occurred there may be practical reasons for not punishing the person. A prime example is whether we need that person to testify against an even more culpable person…( going after the BIG FISH !) Clarity of your (written) presentation…You are presenting the facts of the case study to support a recommendation to act (or not to act) Everything relevant to that recommendation, good and bad, should be included in the report and be presented in a clear and concise form to alert the reader to all the important points. Even the format you choose should be selected with care for its ability to highlight the main points.
