Note: The Finance Project will include two documents (Word fle and Excel spreadsheet). Make sure to include appropriate citations. This project should be professional in appearance. Grammatical and spelling errors are not acceptable. Make sure you run grammar check and spell check before submitting your final document.  Use the rubric to verify you have included everything that is required!
Create a Financial Statement Report (Excel file) for a fictitious healthcare system using the provided Excel file. Your report should include the following:

Balance Sheet for the past 2 years with common size and trend percentages included. Page 45, Figure 3.1 in the textbook shows a balance sheet with common size and trend percentages.  Take note of the titles of the columns.  Last paragraph on page 44 explains how to calculate common size.  Trend percentage show on bottom of page 49 and figure 3.3 on page 50.  Make sure you read the rubric!
Income Statement for the past 2 years with common size and trend percentages included (statement of changes in net assets may be included with the income statement or issued as a separate document)
Cash Flow Statement with trend percentages
Ratio Analysis page which includes the following ratios: Total Margin, Return on Equity, Operating Margin, Current Ratio, Days Cash on Hand, Debt Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Fixed Asset Turnover, Total Asset Turnover, and Days in Patient Accounts Receivable. Show the formula used, your values in the formula, and the result.

Analyze the financial state of your hospital (Word document). Using benchmark data (research to find this data and include appropriate citations) and the financial statements, analyze your hospital. Are they meeting benchmarks? Why or why not? What does this tell you about the financial state of the organization? This should be a minimum of 2 pages in length.
