How does coming out or choosing not to come out to immigrant parents (select one) affect the mental health and overall well-being of those in LGBTQ+ community?

While this is the research question: 

How does coming out or choosing not to come out to immigrant (CHOOSE ONE) parents affect the mental health and overall well-being of those in LGBTQ+ community? 

In order to narrow the research, please select ONE culture to focus on when finidng research articles on immigrant families. My professor has asked that I be specific since coming out is different in different immigrant communities. Feel free to select anyone you’d like or find most research on (can be Latino, African, etc..). 

These were the instructions provided to me: 

This research paper will apply the information you learned to the understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and to all of Psychology. 
Paper should include: 
– Basic data and facts about the topic. Make sure to state the research question and your hypothesis. 
– Give a brief overview of the topic (less than 1 page, DO NOT SUMMARIZE THE RESEARCH IN THE STUDY, DO NOT WRITE ABOUT THE METHODOLOGY OF THE STUDIES.)                                                                          – Only write about the results and the discussions of researchers along ith your own interpreation/ discussion  
When discussing each article, describe: 
 – What you learned that was new to you
– What you found interesting 
– How this information is important to the study of LGBTQ+ Psychology
– How this information intersects with all of the Psychology you have learned 
– How this information could affect society and public opinion
– At least 5 articles must be referenced in the paper, and please make sure to include a separate reference page and title page( you can do a template for me to fill out my information).

From my understanding, this paper is primarily about how those who have immigrant parents have a different experience when coming out to their parents. This paper should focus on the existing research around this and connecting it to current LGBTQ+ issues, reflecting information that may have been new to you, and focusing on why this research is important at all (the greater picture).
