Read chapters 8 & 9 this week. We are going to talk about interviewing and negotiations. In week one, each of shared your short- and long-term career goals. So, I would like for you to search for a job in your career field of choice and share the advertisement. Next, research and list ten interview questions that you feel would be effective in hiring the best candidate. Once you have selected your questions, I would like for you to answer the questions as if you were interviewing for the job. Lastly, the salary offer for this position will be $60k even if the salary is listed on the job advertisement. You would like to make $73k and will need to negotiate your salary with me. I will provide feedback and to let you know from an HR standpoint whether you convinced me.
