Individual Country Paper

Demonstrate basic knowledge of healthcare policy, finance, and regulatory environments, including local, state, national, and global healthcare trends. 
Discuss social justice, including a commitment to the health of vulnerable populations and the elimination of health disparities

Each student is to select an individual country from their assigned WHO Region. Throughout the modules, students will be directed to take a closer look at specific data points and outcome measurements.  Each student is to write an 8-10-page paper (including cover page and reference page).  Paper must be in 7th ed. APA format. 
Paper content must include:

The name of the country you have chosen, the region and other countries within the region.
The demographic makeup of the country (i.e., age, race, gender, religion, economic status, education availability)
Discuss the vulnerable populations of your chosen country, and the social justice system ways of eliminating the health disparities of the country  

What population group has the best health indicators? Why?
What population group has the worst health indicators?  Why?

What are the health goals of you country? Are these similar or different for that of the WHO region in which your chosen country is located?
What is the leading cause of death in your chosen country across the lifespan?
What are the health care priorities of your chosen country?  How is this similar or different than that of your assigned region?
How are human rights in your chosen country decided?
Describe the climate of your chosen country and discuss the impact of the environment on the health of the population.
How is the health care system organized in your chosen country?
List critical health concerns of women and children in your chosen country.  What measures are in place to improve health?
Describe the prevalence of infectious and non-infectious disease in your chosen country?
List one significant natural disaster or humanitarian crisis that has occurred in your chosen country in the past 10-years.  What, if any, impact does this have in the current day?
Summary and conclusion
Bibliography: Identify sources of information utilized which must be cited in-text and reference in correct APA format 7th ed.
