Museum Assignment
The assignment is for students to virtually visit the Dallas Museum of Art
and to select one work of art you view on the museum’s website that you will evaluate.
We have looked at various works of art this semester and you should use that
information discussed in class, with one or two additional reference sources to help you analyze the art 
work you select for the paper.
The goal in this assignment is for you to look at the artwork and prepare a short paper 
 of “your personal” analysis of the artwork, using the terminology in the textbook chapters.
You may include some very brief information about the creator of the artwork, and the time and culture in which is was created, but the paper should be mostly about the art evaluation of the artwork.
You may use a book or journal article as your reference source.  Websites are not acceptable resources
for this assignment.
The paper should be between two and four pages in length, typed in 12point type, double spaced, with one inch margins.
Use the MLA Style Manual for guidance on how to write the paper.
