Please write a response to the discussion post of one of my peers.  I’ve attached the original reference and             background information for the discussion.  Please give critical responses to the peer’s three points regarding why Britain decided to leave the EU.  Peer’s post is below original instructions.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Britain recently voted to leave the European Union (EU). The EU was created, in part, to better enable participating countries to participate and prosper in the global marketplace. What would make the British citizens decide to leave the EU?

You will critically analyze the political and economic factors that influenced the British to vote to leave the EU and
 identify three reasons why the vote to leave the EU was the best decision and three reasons why the vote to leavewas not the best decision.  You will then develop three reasons on both sides (pro-exit and remain in EU) , 
supported by scholarly research, to defend your position.

The following three talking points support my position in favor of Britain not leaving the European Union:
          
The Britain departure from the European Union (EU) will negatively affect inward Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The UK had the second-largest stock of inward FDI in the world in 2011, behind the United States, and was recognized as the most attractive location for investment in the EU in 2013 (Weller, 2013). Businesses like to invest in Britain because it provides access to their goods in the other EU Member States. A Britain departure from the EU can potentially discourage businesses from investing in Britain, negatively affecting inward FDI.
           
The Britain departure from the European Union will affect Trade Relations. Due to Britains geographical location, it forms part of the European Economic Area (EEA) and is also a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Because of these affiliations, Britain enjoys free trade in services between EU Member States (Csanyi, 2017). A departure from the EU would require Britain to rejoin the EFTA, remain in the EEA, or negotiate bilateral agreements with the EU or other countries (Hill & Hult, 2020). These are three options that could significantly impact Trade Relations.
           
The Britain departure from the European Union will affect the Free Movement of Persons. The Free Movement of People principle entitles citizens of the EU Member States and their families to reside and work anywhere in the EU (Weller, 2013). In addition, EU nationals have personal rights that allow them to move freely and live up to three months in any EU Member state. Britains decision to depart from the EU will potentially cause its citizens to lose this right. A secondary effect to this decision is the British Governments plan regarding travel visa’s or documents requirements for its citizens who reside in EU Member states upon ratification of the departure.
