The purpose of this assignment is to develop in the student an ability to

Prepare and professionally present the project schedule as a Gantt chart
Prepare and professionally present a project communication management plan
Develop academic and professional writing skills

There are three sections to this assignment:
Presentation of Project Scope

Complete this form based on the scope information provided in your initial M3D1 message and the feedback from your classmates and instructor. The project scope statement must have all the required details. The contents of the project scope statement form should be sufficiently elaborate to demonstrate your understanding.
Presentation of Gantt Chart of Project Schedule
Prepare a Gantt chart for your project based on based on the WBS information provided in your initial M3D1 message and the feedback from your classmates and instructor. The Gantt chart should display the activity dependencies so please ensure your task schedules are planned appropriately. Upload this Gantt chart as a Microsoft Word document or as a PDF file.
The Gantt chart can be prepared using Microsoft Project.

Microsoft Project is available for $10 per month on a current Microsoft Office subscription. (Available for purchase at the online bookstore)

Excel is acceptable.

Alternatively, you can use a free project management software to prepare the Gantt chart. GanttProject can be downloaded for free from their website (Links to an external site.). It can run on Windows, Mac or Linux environments. Zoho Projects is a cloud based project management software available at Zoho website (Links to an external site.).
Presentation of Project Communication Management
Click on the Project Communication Management  Download Project Communication Management[DOC, file size 31.5 KB] form to download it. Complete this form with information specific and pertinent to your term project. The project communication form must have all the required details. The contents of the project communication form should be sufficiently elaborate to demonstrate your understanding. You may refer to Figure 6-14 Sample Communications Management Plan on page 209 of the textbook.
Length and Formatting Requirements
Adopt the following presentation style unless a template is provided for your work:

Compose your work using Microsoft Word.
Each section, except for the Gantt Chart section, must be at least 300 words (about a page, excluding cover and reference pages) long.
Use 12-point Times New Roman font and double-spacing.
Organize your writing in sections with section headings.
Format section headings using Microsoft Word’s “Heading” functions.
Support the write-up with at least five additional sources as references.
Insert cover page and reference pages(s).
Cite and list references in correct APA style.
Check your work to correct any spelling or grammatical errors.
