Marketing Research Application

NSTRUCTIONS:

You can work individually or with a partner. If you work with a
partner, please have 1 person submit your Marketing Research Application
#1. Both names should be on the submission.
Select 2 of the following brands and the respond to the following
questions for each brand. That is, you are being asked to respond to
Questions #1-4 for Brand #1 and then respond to Questions #1-4 for Brand
#2. Your analysis should be approximately 6-8 double-spaced pages in
total (3-4 pages per brand) and demonstrate knowledge of Chapters 1-4
course material.
Use APA style (title page, in-text citations, reference page)

Brand of your choice (e.g., Nike, Apple, etc.)

Questions to be answered for each brand. You should respond to
Questions #1-4 for Brand #1 and then respond to Questions #1-4 for Brand
#2. 

How marketing research is relevant to the brand? How might the brand utilize marketing research for strategic purposes?
Describe 2 specific marketing research questions that the brand
might be interested in examining. (2 for each brand, a total of 4
specific marketing research questions)
For Question #2, classify each research question into one of the
following marketing research processes as noted in Chapter 1: 1)
Marketing Situation Analysis, 2) Marketing Strategy Design, and 3)
Marketing Program Development. Explain why you categorized each research
question into the aforementioned research process. (2 for each brand, a
total of 4 specific marketing research questions)
Describe how these research questions can be addressed from the
different research approaches discussed in Chapters 2-4. That is, what
specific marketing research methodologies do you recommend to answer
these questions, and why?
