Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

Instructions:

This research paper focuses on a pressing human rights issue that you outlined in your proposal. In this paper, you are expected to engage with the three sources that you included in your proposal, as well as with at least one reading that we read in class. All assignments will be marked according to how well you follow instructions, your clarity of thought, organization of ideas, and proper referencing of sources. 

Your paper must be six to seven pages in length, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-point font. 

Below is the format that you are expected to follow for your paper. You should also consider using appropriate subheadings to help organize your paper.

Introduction (5 marks)
Introduce the main argument of your paper
Provide some general background information about your topic 
Why is this subject an important and concerning human rights issue? 
Clearly outline the organization of your paper to help the reader know what to expect

Body (20 marks)  
Present your research findings: provide background on your topic and the main research question that you are addressing. By drawing on the literature that you have chosen, write in detail about what you have found in these readings. What are the highlights of your research findings with regards to your main research question?
Analysis: provide an in-depth analysis of, and engagement with, your research findings. How does your understanding of your research findings answer/address your main research question? 

Conclusion (5 marks)
What conclusions can you draw from your analysis of your research findings? what is the significance/importance of the topic you have chosen for human rights? how does this paper further contribute to your understanding of human rights?

Essentially, the essay has to do with anything to do with the dangers, deaths, and reported abductions of Indigenous Woman. As this is a Gender and Woman Studies course, utilize the provided powerpoint from the course to use course material. 

As I had not specifically stated my thesis, you can make it upon whatever as long as it discusses the deaths, abuse, rape, sexualization, immoral treatment and abductions upon Indigenous Women.
