“The two strategies that appealed to me the most are the third and forth strategies.
The third strategy is finding out what you love to do and diving headfirst into it. For me, I already have multiple hobbies that I love to do. I love running, playing Dungeons and Dragons, spending time with my cats, and drawing. These are all activities that I can easily access and engage in whenever Im feeling stressed. Moreover, these activities will continue to be good for me even when Im not feeling stressed. Weve learned that a positive temperament serves as a buffer against stress. I also plan to use the fourth strategy, turning stress into successive energy, to fuel what I love to do. Not only will this allow me to put my unpleasant energy to use, but it will also aid me in putting more effort into the activities I love. This will help me by absorbing and reinforcing the belief that not all stress is bad. Conversely, it can help me improve my performance levels and quality of life”.
