Overview

In this podcast assignment,
you will focus on the trajectory of the discipline of political science in
general and your chosen political science sub-field. Your presentation will
afford the opportunity to consider aspects of the discipline that will shape
the future of the field and thus equip you to determine possible avenues for
professional career.  As a consequence of
your preparation for this podcast you will identify questions for further study
in the discipline.

Instructions

Discuss the current processes, controversies,
and ideas that dominate academic conversation in your subfield. To determine
the trajectory of this subfield of political science, pay careful attention to
the discussion of research questions remaining within the subfield. Prepare a
podcast where you examine the above points in light other information you have
gleaned from this course.

●       Length of assignment should be a podcast in mp3 format. The
presentation should be 10 minutes and conform to the rubric for this
assignment.

specifications:

30–60-second overview of what will be
discussed

5-minute presentation of the main story/prompt

2-minute sidebar discussion of the
implications of the arguments

o  
30-second discussion of the implications
for your future exploration of your chosen subfield

30-second closing

a podcast script and outline.
