Assignment
Write a 1,000-word revision of Project #1 (Autoethnography) or Project #2 (Textual Analysis). 
Revision
Revision literally means to “see again,” to look at your work from a new perspective. Often, it is an ongoing process of rethinking the paper: 

reconsidering your viewpoint
reviewing your evidence
refining your purpose
reorganizing your presentation
reviving stale writing

For this paper, you will reconsider, review, and refine your Autoethnography or Textual Analysis based on the secondary (library-based) research you conducted. What ideas or theories can now be applied to that paper to give it greater depth and complexity? 
If you are revising the Autoethnography…
concentrate on adding research findings to your introduction or conclusion. Remember that the purpose of your autoethnography is to explore identity. So now, connect your experience to research findings and theories. How can theories about community, race, or social identity be applied to your story, to help you and the reader make sense of it? 
If you are revising the Textual Analysis…
you looked at a romantic film’s main ideas. Now, using the research you conducted, you can develop your findings and connect them to literary, social, or cultural theories. For example, how can a critical race theory, feminist theory, or Queer theory (or even theories about love) be applied to the film and improve our understanding of it? In some ways, you might start changing your analysis.  
At this stage, you will also want to be more aware of strategies for writing introductions and conclusions. and proofreading the paper for mechanical errors (see Common Writing Errors). Feel free to use Brainfuse or PVCC’s learning support center. 
A minimum of four sources is required.

Re-analyze and re-interpret a movie’s romantic qualities, based on a cultural, social, or communication theory; and
Support assertions about the text with specific examples.
