Storytelling Project Final Video

Instructions:
Upload a link to your final story video with the voice-over and pictures put together. Post it on YouTube or upload your video file to Canvas Studio and submit it through Canvas studio. DO NOT directly upload your video files to the assignment. 
YOU MUST TURN IN THIS ASSIGNMENT TO PASS THE COURSE NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CURRENT GRADE IS. 
Digital stories often contain multiple visual and audio layers. For more info on video editing watch this lecture 
For more info on how to turn in the assignment using Canvas studio and not direct files watch this lecture ( I discuss it at about 7min and 15 seconds in): 
 
The visual layers are: 

The composition of a single image 

The combination of multiple images within a single frame, either through collage or fading over time 
The juxtaposition of a series of images over time 
Movement applied to a single image, either by panning or zooming or the juxtaposition of a series of cropped details from the whole image 
The use of text on screen in relation to visuals, spoken narration, or sound

The audio layers are: 

Recorded voice-over in relation to sound, either music or ambient sound 
Music alone or in contrast to another piece of music 

Objective/Goal:
This is the last in a series of assignments to complete your storytelling project. Now it’s time to present your final story!

Due Module 3 – Story Circle Discussion – brainstorm ideas for your story
Due Module 4 – First draft of your story-written script
Due Module 8 – Final draft of your story-video
Due Module 12 – Rough cut of your project-video
Due Module 15 – Final cut of your project-video

Grading:
Learning and growth take practice and reflection and I am here to support your efforts. All assignments in this course will be marked as either Complete (all rubric criteria are met) or Incomplete (not quite there yet, review my feedback, revise your work, and resubmit your assignment).
