SWK-520 Media Project

The media project plan will be completed as a team of students and assigned based on the social welfare issue chosen. Each group will be responsible for presenting a short media video (2 to 5 minutes) that introduces the social welfare policy, the current state of the policy, and a brief overview of the issue, and recommended action steps/solutions. 
You must submit the link for viewing of the video and your rating of your peers. 
You will create a video that highlights the social issue and proposes a new legislative or policy solution.  For this assignment, you will propose an innovative new, federal, state, or local policy solution on your social justice issue. This will require a review of existing policies. However, your policy can be an amendment to an existing policy. 
Your video should include:

identifying a policy gap that inspires the need for a new policy
policy name
policy goals
policy benefits and services provided
eligibility status
service delivery system (point out why this policy falls within federal and not state jurisdiction)
financing
political, administrative, and financial feasibility (what is the political will, and financial and administrative ease/ability for making this policy happen)
description of the steps for making your policy federal law
outlining a grassroots campaign to identify stakeholders and garner community support of your policy
