       Good typographical presentation
       Spelling is of acceptable edited standard written English (ESWE).
       Grammar meets ESWE criteria.
       Quality and quantity of the references used are appropriate for assignment.
Consistently Conforms to APA format.

Throughout the paper each section will be evaluated for:
Clarity/Conciseness Content: Level to which paper addressed the guidelines. Logical presentation of ideas, documentation of scholarly resources. NOT just a compilation of ideas from references.
Argument: The writing reflects the authors own voice; point of view is clear; arguments are made clearly and simply; alternative points of view are considered and evaluated. Argument made was cogent.  
Synthesis: This is not a summary but rather a reflection of your critical thinking as evidenced by your ability to use the evidence to make reasonable connections and conclusions. Conclusions are the authors own synthesis and not just a summarizing or paraphrasing of other peoples arguments.
