The Nadler-Tushman Congruence Model

The Nadler-Tushman Congruence Model is one of many models that guide leaders (or OD Practitioners) to gather sufficient data in order to make decisions on the best method to implement Change Management (Transformation Process) within the organization.

Using all APA format, create an essay (500 – 800 words) on the following topic.

ASSIGNMENT:  40 Marks

Before any changes can be made in an organization, the OD Consultant (or leader) must learn as much about the company to determine the problem, and solution. In this assignment, you are only going to research two parts of the model- “Input” and Strategy”.  Your task is to describe in detail, the parts to INPUTS, what they represent, and how they affect the Strategy chosen that will ensure the Transformative Processes will be successful.  

Ask yourself: 

What are the three parts within INPUTS?
What are several examples within each of those parts? 
Explain how PESTEL and SWOT may offer more details within this data collection.
Why is it important to understand how the business operates within each of these areas?
Why does the OD Consultant (or leader) need to gather information and data before they go to the next stage (STRATEGY)?
How is the STRATEGY section relevant to the INPUTS or how are the INPUTS relevant to the STRATEGY?
What is the purpose of the Strategy and how does it relate to the next stage? (TRANSFORMATION PROCESS)
Why is it important for a business leader to be aware of these components before they move forward with change?
