Vocational Scenario or Context:
You are a freelance Health and Safety Specialist that your services were recently acquired by an Omani Based Oil and Gas Company that has been in business for almost 2 years. The selected Company will be undergoing an audit in a couple of months. The reason your services were acquired by them is to check and make sure that the company is complying with all the necessary regulations and physical requirements with their key personnel with regards to the operational activities they are doing.

Task 1 –
With a view of health, safety and security, write a report explaining all the legal requirements and regulations that were developed by the Omani government with regards to the Oil and Gas company with the aim of protecting the employees from getting harmed or ill-health and provide guidance to the companies on what to be done.
Hint: All the legislations taught are UK based, research the Omani legislation that have the same context and write about them.
Oil and Gas being the dependent business to boost the economy of the country, there are laws put in place to establish a ground for productivity, linking those laws, assess their implications on them for a business role.

Task 2- For the well-being and a safe workplace for the employees, an organisation is required to set certain working environment guidelines and physical specifications that would act as guidance to a harm-free environment in benefiting both the employees and the organisation as well. Describe all physical environment and equipment that apply to the business chosen above.

P2- Describe the requirements for a healthy and safe workplace, as applied to the physical environment and equipment used, in a selected business.(Report)

Task3-
In the final part of the report, as operating an oil and gas company and wanting as low as reasonably practicable risk-free environment, specific people in the workplace should be selected to be in charge of specific tasks related to health and safety. These people are called Key personnel. Explain their roles and responsibilities in health and safety in a workplace.
With the explained roles and responsibilities of key personnel, assess their roles and responsibilities on whether they allow the organisation to meet the requirements of health and safety legislation.
